Dr. Noelia Ferruz is an expert in unsupervised generative models for protein design, and as of January 2023 she is a group leader at the IBMB at CSIC. She obtained a Masters in Bioinformatics and a PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and gained several years of valuable postdoctoral experience in the field of Protein Design at Universität Bayreuth.
